ESI söker en Senior Business Development Manager Europe (m/f/d)

To further strengthen our growth ambitions, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager Europe with a strong focus on winning new client leads, converting high-value business opportunities, and driving sustainable revenue growth across Europe.
Your role
As Senior Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of pan-European new business development and act as a trusted commercial partner to ESI Management and member agencies. You will proactively identify, develop, and close new opportunities with international clients, while shaping ESI’s go-to-market strategy.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy and strategic responsibility, representing ESI at senior client level.
Your responsibilities Own and drive pan-European new business acquisition, from lead generation to contract closing
Proactively identify and develop high-value client leads and strategic partnerships
Build and maintain strong relationships with international decision-makers and key stakeholders
Lead and coordinate cross-country opportunities, RFQs, and international tenders
Define and execute go-to-market strategies together with ESI Management and member agencie
Act as the senior commercial interface between clients and ESI country teams
Lead tender strategy, value proposition development, and commercial negotiations
Oversee the preparation of compelling tender presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and pricing models
Use Sales Management and CRM systems to manage pipelines, forecasts, and performance tracking
Identify market trends, growth areas, and emerging client needs across Europe
Represent ESI in international pitches, client meetings, and industry event
Support the launch and development of pan-European client projects, ensuring commercial success
Continuously optimize business development processes and improve conversion rates
Your profile
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
· Several years of proven experience in Business Development or Sales, ideally within Fieldmarketing, Retail Marketing, or agency environments
· Strong track record of successfully acquiring new clients and closing complex, multi-country deals
· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills at senior management level
· Fluent English is required; additional European languages are an advantage
· Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach
· High level of independence, ownership, and commercial acumen
· Willing to travel regularly across Europe
· Charismatic, confident, and collaborative personality with strong stakeholder management skills
